Ola Aina says the Super Eagles are prepared for war against the Bafana Bafana of South Africa, DAILY POST reports.
Jose Peseiro’s men will be up against South Africa in a semi-final fixture at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations on Wednesday.
The highly anticipated encounter is slated for the Stade de la Paix, Bouake.
“It is going to be a good game between two good teams. Myself and my teammates are ready for this challenge,” Aina told a press conference in Abidjan on Tuesday.
The Super Eagles have impressed in the competition with their gritty display.
Aina credited head coach, Jose Peseiro for the team’s success.
“I think he (Peseiro) is a good coach. He’s hard on us when he needs to do that and lenient when he needs to. There’s a correct balance to help the players do things the right way,” added the Nottingham Forest defender.
