Four coaches have been shortlisted for the Nigeria Premier Football League coaches of the month award for December.
The quartet of Abdullahi Maikaba (Kano Pillars), Finidi George (Enyimba FC), Mangut Mbwas (Plateau United) and Kennedy Boboye (Heartland FC).
Boboye’s Heartland recorded three wins, one draw and two defeats in the month.
The 50-year-old tactician guided Heartland to 17th position from the bottom of the NPFL table before his disengagement by Imo State Governor Hope Uzodinma.
Mangut’s free scoring side netted 12 goals in six games in December.
The Peace Boys registered four wins and two defeats in the month.
Enyimba continued their quest to defend the title under the tutelage of Finidi George with an impressive four-game unbeaten run in December.
Meanwhile, Makaiba’s side recorded four wins in the month.
The winner of the December award will be announced later in the week.
